Version 2.0.6.1 — April 9, 2010
- Invalid promotion items rejected by the Sapphire are now saved in an error
directory so that they can be retained for the purposes of research for
debugging files without impeding the transfer of subsequent promotion
items to the POS.
Version 2.0.5.1 — December 31, 2009
- Payroll totals are now polled using payroll sequence number as provided by
the Sapphire instead of generating an incremental sequence # based on EndDateTime.
This is used for Sapphire base versions 157 and above.
Version 2.0.4.1 - September 16, 2009
- Uses new MSXML parser.
- Tank Monitor movement can now be viewed in the Sales Viewer. On the File menu,
click View>Sales.
- Polls Payroll report.
Version 2.0.3.3 - November 21, 2008
- The User name for logging onto the Sapphire is now
non-editable and defaults
to SSCS. On the Setup menu, click Site Settings.
- The Password for logging onto the Sapphire is now
automatically encrypted for
both dial-up and non-dial-up users.
- VS-Poll has been re-engineered to handle connection password
changes, for non-dial-up
users, as forced by the Sapphire every 90 days. When the Sapphire forces a password change,
VS-Poll "tells" the Sapphire to use a new, randomly generated password for that
user. This action occurs in the background and does not require user intervention.
- A manual reset feature for the connection password has been
added. This is to be used
in cases, after the password expires, where more
than one user polls the same Sapphire
from different machines which can result in one of the users not
receiving the randomly
generated connection password described above. The "blocked" user can use this
feature to set the correct a connection password on their machine and re-establish contact
with the Sapphire. On the Setup menu, click Reset Connection Password, type
a User name and the desired connection password.
Version 2.0.3.2 - September 11, 2008
- Added a version number viewer that displays a record of the date and time Nucleus and
N-PollWin version numbers were changed. This is to help the troubleshooting process as
certain features or bugs may affect specific versions. On the Help menu, click
Versions.
