Who can order this service?
The service is most often used when a POS device is being upgraded or replaced by a different
device. The service is available to anyone who wishes to save a POS Price Book file from one
device and convert it to a different POS device format and upload it to the new device. The
brand of fuel is not a factor in this conversion so you can be running any major brand or
independent software.
Can this service be performed by the on site service technician?
SSCS has developed tools to perform this task remotely. This means we can schedule the
installation of your new equipment with your service technician, which will make the transition
much easier.
What is the cost for this service?
The cost is just $600 per site. All financial arrangements must be made prior to the conversion
process.
What is required for me to schedule a conversion?
For most systems, all you need is a phone line and external 56K modem. Call our Sales Department
at (800) 972-7727 and tell the representative you want to schedule a POS conversion. He or she will
verify the type of POS equipment, get your service technician's contact information and schedule
the conversion. It is that simple. |
